Bath Mind win two Mind Excellence Awards

What are the Mind Excellence Awards?

Each year, all local Minds who have completed the national Mind charity ‘Mind Quality Mark’ process are invited to apply for the Mind excellence awards. A panel of judges with lived experience of mental health problems then looked over anonymised reflective accounts from local Minds and rate the applications.

Awards for Bath Mind in 2022/23

Bath Mind completed the Mind Quality Mark (MQM) process in 2022. We were delighted to find out in November 2022 that we had been shortlisted for two awards: 

1. Mind Excellence Award in Leadership
2. Mind Excellence Award in Collaboration, Profile, and Leadership.

In January 2023, we were notified that we had won these awards! Mind had this to say about our charity:

Bath Mind has developed a reputation for effectiveness and reliability in its local health and social care environment which has allowed it to develop a position of authority and influence in local strategic planning forums and in local partnership meetings.

It has also retained a focus on working collaboratively, promoting the importance of smaller voluntary sector organisations, and ensuring that the experiences of people with mental health problems are reflected in these strategic discussions.

A big thanks to Mind for the awards, and as always a sincere thanks to our staff, volunteers, trustees, supporters and clients. We hope to continue to grow and develop our service offer so that mental health support is available when people need it most in Bath & North East Somerset.
