Welcome to Bath Mind
We are caring, knowledgeable, professional, and responsible. We put people at the heart of all that we do.
Please see below Bath Mind’s statement regarding the COVID-19 pandemic
The Government have categorised the current COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic. We have revised our operational arrangements in response to this continually changing and uncertain situation. We are managing the following arrangements to take place with immediate effect:
Bath Mind will temporarily suspend face to face contact within our wellbeing services and community support service. Our wellbeing and community support team will be in touch with all existing group members and clients on how this will affect usual access with Bath Mind services. Support within these services will be managed remotely.
Our registered care home will continue on current arrangements due to the nature of their requirements. Residents will be supported to follow government guidelines and advice.
Breathing Space will aim to open as soon as possible offering an evening home phone support. We will release further details on how to access this service shortly.
Our training team has developed a NEW online Wellbeing in the Workplace offer, which includes online training sessions and 1-1 phone support. For more information please click here.
All office-based and admin staff will be working from home with access to email and phones. The main office line and all office answer machine messages have been diverted and will be available.
The Bath Mind senior management team will be meeting virtually on a weekly basis to monitor the situation and keep all informed on progress.
If you have any queries at all, please do not hesitate to get in contact at [email protected] or 01225 316199

Who are Bath Mind?
We were established in 1998 by a group of local people with lived experience of mental ill health who wanted to provide information and activities for people in the community. Since then we have worked hard to develop what we do in response to local needs.
Many of ou current staff have lived experience of facing mental health challenges; we have a greater understanding of the community that we support.
We are in contact with over 3,400 people annually to improve, prevent and maintain mental health and wellbeing.
While we are affiliated to national Mind, we receive no direct funding from them. We are a self – sustaining, independent locally run charity.
Live, Learn, Share
Live, Learn and Share encapsulates our core services which empower people to engage or participate in our early intervention work to prevent mental ill health and improve their own wellbeing.
