Bath Mind is a local independent mental health charity working across B&NES and Wiltshire.

When my wife died I was in the deepest, darkest despair. Bath Mind provided me with a focus and gave me new ways and tools to approach life

We are here to make sure that everyone with, or at risk of, mental ill health has somewhere to turn to for information, advice and support.

Without Bath Mind I would not be here today. I still have bad days but at a time when I needed help the most, you were there for me.

Welcome to Bath Mind

We are caring, knowledgeable, professional, and responsible.
We put people at the heart of all that we do.

We are still here to support you throughout the COVID-19 period.

Coronavirus and your Mental Health Resources

We have revised our operational arrangements in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are still here and operating to support the community.

Who are Bath Mind?

We were established in 1998 by a group of local people with lived experience of mental ill health who wanted to provide information and activities for people in the community.  Since then we have worked hard to develop what we do in response to local needs.

Many of our current staff have lived experience of facing mental health challenges; we have a greater understanding of the community that we support.

We are in contact with over 3,400 people annually to improve, prevent and maintain mental health and wellbeing.

While we are affiliated to national Mind, we receive no direct funding from them. We are a self – sustaining, independent locally run charity.

Live, Learn, Share

Live, Learn and Share encapsulates our core services which empower people to engage or participate in our early intervention work to prevent mental ill health and improve their own wellbeing.
