Adult ADHD Clinic has a specialist team who work exclusively with adults who have ADHD in Bristol, B&NES and the surrounding areas. They provide assessment, reassessment and treatment, taking into consideration the many areas in an adult’s life before an accurate ADHD diagnosis is made.

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Intensive Team

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership’s Intensive Teams consist of experienced mental health staff who offer assessment and home treatment for people aged over 16 years experiencing a mental health crisis, as an alternative to hospital admission. AWP also has Regional Early Intervention in Psychosis teams offering support to anyone experiencing symptoms of psychosis or schizophrenia.

The Emergency Duty Team in B&NES can be contacted if you’re struggling to cope with day-to-day life, or are experiencing mental health issues which cannot wait. You can also call this number if you suspect an adult is being abused or neglected.

B&NES Primary Care Mental Health Liaison service

B&NES Primary Care Mental Health Liaison service is a short-term support service to help people with mental health difficulties to move forward. If you have concerns about your own mental health you should first contact your GP and your GP may decide to refer you to primary care liaison. The team receives referrals from GPs and other health or social care professionals. When someone is referred, they aim to see the person within four weeks.

BASS Autism Services provide advice and support to autistic adults living in B&NES and surrounding areas. Bath Mind Emergency Department Service

Bath Mind’s Emergency Department Adult Intervention Service is based at the Royal United Hospital in Bath’s Emergency Department. It offers trauma-informed person centred support to people experiencing mental health decline or crisis. The team work alongside clients to identify suitable next steps to improve their mental health, and will follow up with them within 24 hours of our first interaction, and at agreed intervals thereafter.
