Bath Mind run a wide range of mental health services, however not all our services are appropriate for crisis support. Our mental health Freephone support line 0808 175 1369 is open 7 days a week from 9am – 11pm. But if you’re in need of immediate support with your mental health outside of these hours, there is still help available.
Mental health emergencies are serious. You’re not wasting anyone’s time.

Breathing Space is Bath Mind’s face-to-face and telephone support service. It offers calm, non-clinical support to individuals experiencing or at risk of a mental health crisis.
The Breathing Space telephone line is open every evening between 5.30pm and 11pm. The support line can be reached by calling 0808 175 1369. You will be offered calm, compassionate, non-clinical support over the phone.
Our face-to-face service is open every evening from 6pm to 10.30pm at Oasis Church, Fountain Buildings, Bath, BA1 5DU.
If you want to use the service, you need to be referred or to self-refer before 5pm on the day you wish to attend. You can do this by phoning 0808 175 1369 and leaving a message, or by emailing [email protected]. You will then be called between 5pm and 6pm to be told your session time.

The Community Wellbeing Hub provides a central place for individuals living in Bath and North East Somerset to access a range of services that will help you stay safe and well and improve your health and wellbeing.

The Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS) provides a first point of contact to access mental health services in Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES), North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire.
The teams offer mental health telephone triage, face-to-face assessment, brief interventions, support, advice and signposting.
BaNES Talking Therapies support people who are feeling low, anxious, stressed or worried. The service runs courses about improving wellbeing, and also offers one-to-one appointments either face-to-face or over the telephone.
Part of the Talking Therapies service is a Wellbeing Service for people with long-term health conditions such as diabetes, chronic pain, fibromyalgia and COPD.
This service helps people to live well with their long-term health condition by supporting their psychological wellbeing and working together with physical health teams.
