What is Safe Space?
Safe Space is a peer support group is for young people (16-25) to connect and have discussions about their mental health and wellbeing in a safe, supportive place, facilitated by Bath Mind staff and volunteers. There are opportunities to engage in new activities based around the five ways to wellbeing, such as sharing music, literature, guided art sessions, theatre and physical activity.
Supported by trained Bath Mind staff and volunteers, Safe Space provides a space for 16-25 years old to be open and honest, as well as take part in optional online activities and meet new people.
Safe Space is currently held on Zoom every Thursday from 5pm to 6.30pm, and monthly the group meets in person at Bath City College.
