What is Open Opportunities?
Open Opportunities is a community support group that offers people with ongoing mental health issues the opportunity to engage in social activities linked to the five ways to wellbeing (connect, be active, take notice, learn and give). The aim is to improve members’ mental health, supporting people to self-care and to reduce social isolation.
Members are encouraged to get involved in all aspects of running the group and plan what activities they would like to explore. Bath Mind facilitators are on hand to offer 1:1 support and to help with access to other services where appropriate.
Members try a wide range of activities that help improve their wellbeing, including:
- mindful drawing
- drama sessions (check out our latest film featuring Open Opportunities!)
- quizzes
- occasional trips and days out!
Times: Mondays 1.00pm – 2.30pm
Location: The Bubble, Bath.
Please self-refer or get in contact before attending.
