Mental Health First Aid

These interactive sessions will qualify participants as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®), equipping them to:

  • Spot signs of poor mental health and provide first-level support
  • Guide people toward professional help and resources

  • Understand boundaries, confidentiality, and self-care as an MHFAider®

Mental Health First Aid Refresh

The Mental Health First Aid Refresher course is designed for those who completed an Adult MHFA® or MHFA Champion course 2-3 years ago. This training helps your qualification stay up to date by:

  • Refreshing your knowledge of mental health and its influencing factors
  • Enhancing your awareness of current support strategies and best practices
  • Offering time to practice using the Mental Health First Aid action plan
  • Providing access to new course resources, ongoing learning, and 24/7 support through the MHFAider Support App®

Mental Health First Aid Aware

The Mental Health Aware course is an introductory program designed to raise awareness of mental health. It covers:

  • An introduction to self-care and maintaining your own wellbeing
  • Building confidence to support someone in distress or facing a mental health challenge

Suicide First Aid

Developed in partnership with the internationally recognised City & Guilds Approved Centre, our Suicide First Aid course offers a unique learning experience for anyone looking to deepen their understanding and confidently support those at risk of suicide.

In this course, you’ll gain essential skills to:

  • Understand the personal and professional impact of suicide and how to respond effectively
  • Recognise barriers that prevent people from seeking help and how to overcome them
  • Identify the prevalence of suicidal thoughts and behaviours
  • Spot the warning signs of suicide and use the Suicide-Safety Guide for intervention
  • Collaborate with community resources and partners to provide ongoing support

By completing Suicide First Aid, you are on the path to achieving the UK’s only national Suicide Prevention qualification. After the course, you will have the opportunity to attain 6 QCF credits at level 4 by completing an additional assessment.

Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, Equity…the terminology in the Inclusivity space can sometimes feel overwhelming with many buzzwords that need demystifying. In this webinar, you will be introduced to key terms relating to EDIE and gain an understanding of the practical application of these concepts within society.

Inclusive Recruitment

This interactive session will equip hiring managers and those part of the recruitment process with the skills and confidence to approach recruitment inclusivity.
