We offer talks around mental health and wellbeing, as well as workshops and sessions which can be combined to create your own bespoke wellbeing event for your teams. Sessions can be held in-person or online.

All of our offers are interactive, encouraging group discussion and engagement. We include a comfort break, and a relaxation session can be added to all bookings so that everyone leaves feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Wellbeing talks and sessions

Identifying and Managing Stress

Designed to help individuals develop and implement effective strategies in dealing with stress, this session will dive into understanding the complexities of stress and how it effects the body and mind. This session will also:

  • Explore what causes stress in the workplace
  • Identify personal stressors and how to manage them
  • Practice stress relief strategies
  • How to build resilience against stress

Strategies to Manage and Support Anxiety

Gain an understanding of anxiety and learn a variety of tools to help manage anxiety signs and symptoms. This session will also look at the body’s response to anxiety and how to challenge anxious thoughts.

Understanding Resilience

Taking steps to build your resilience and to look after your wellbeing can help to reduce the impact that stress has on your work life.  This talk will include:

  • How to build resilience to cope with stress in the workplace
  • The power of resilience – understand the science behind why resilience is important
  • Explore practical tips for how to build your own resilience
  • Signposting and sources of support and information

The Five Ways to Wellbeing

This interactive and engaging session explores the Five Ways to Wellbeing. Discussions will be held around early warning signs of poor mental health and how you can help others. The session will also cover:

  • What are the 5 ways to wellbeing
  • How can the 5 ways to wellbeing decrease stress and build good mental health
  • Signposting to support

Recommended for: Great for understanding the foundations of self-care and supporting employees to take care of their own wellbeing and build personal resilience.

Good Food for Better Mood

Learn about how food and nutrition can affect your mental health and overall wellness. In this workshop you will:

An Introduction to Fermentation

Learn how to make your own fermented food and drink and how gut health contributes to mental health. In this workshop you will:

  • Learn about fermentation 
  • Taste fermented food and drink
  • Q&A on the importance of fermented foods for the microbiome and the link with mental health.

Nature and Gardening for Wellbeing

Learn how to connect with nature to boost your wellbeing. Our wellbeing team will guide you through a range of activities designed to reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety. Providing gardening tips to boost your mood and energy levels, gardening can also build confidence and self-esteem and provide a great sense of achievement.

Wreath Making/Floral Decoration

Wreath Making – Create beautiful, handcrafted wreaths using fresh, seasonal foliage and flowers directly from our allotments and gardens. Under expert guidance, you’ll craft a unique 12-inch willow base wreath, perfect for adding a touch of natural elegance to your front door. You will also have access to naturally dyed ribbons and other decorative elements to customise your wreath, ensuring it reflects your personal style.

Floral Decoration – learn how to construct a seasonal floral table decoration using flowers and greenery cut from our gardens. There will be a focus on using more environmentally friendly techniques using very simple constructs and materials to create naturally styled flowers. These can be used to decorate your homes or for other special occasion.

Bath Mind is a local, independent charity supporting the mental health and wellbeing of people living in BaNES.  Whilst affiliated by brand with the charity Mind, we independently generate our own income.  Income raised  through our Wellbeing in the Workplace training supports people living in our community.
