Join Bath Mind and Think Theatre this summer for ten weeks of free drama workshops!

What will the drama workshops cover?

During weekly creative workshops with Bath Mind and Think Theatre you will make a short film inspired by the theme of loneliness and connection. You will learn key skills in storytelling which will then be used to create a short film.

Workshops are FREE to attend, and the content of them will be responsive to the ideas of the drama group. This means they might cover anything from:

  • performance skills and acting
  • scriptwriting
  • puppetry and comedy
  • poetry
  • movement

You can choose to take a role on or off camera and we will draw on everyone’s strengths to create something totally new!

The film we create as a group will premiere at Bath Mind’s annual World Mental Health Day fundraiser event at Komedia in Bath.

Who can join the workshops?

If you are aged 16-25 with an interest in acting, creative writing or filmmaking, we’d love you to get involved! You don’t need any prior creative experience to sign up, or need to consider yourself ‘creative’. We want to work with people who are excited to get involved, learn new skills, and help us tell a story.

When are the workshops?

Where: Radstock Library, The Street, BA3 3PR
When: Thursdays, 7pm – 8.30pm
Starting: Thursday 21st July
Cost: FREE!
