Mental Elf Festive Fun Run Raises Over £6,000 for Bath Mind!

This past Sunday, 10th December, we hosted our first ever Mental Elf Festive Fun Run at the Odd Down Cycle Track! Despite the challenging weather conditions of wind and heavy rain, the event was a resounding success, bringing together 135 dedicated runners passionate about raising awareness and over £6,000 in funds for Bath Mind’s crucial mental health services.

The overwhelming response that led to a sold-out event was a testament to our community’s commitment to mental health advocacy. We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who participated in the run or supported as spectators. Your enthusiasm and support, even in adverse weather, made a significant impact!

A special thank you to our event sponsor, Buro Happold, whose invaluable support was instrumental in making this event possible. Their team of runners and dedicated volunteers exemplified the spirit of community and generosity, contributing to the event’s success.

We also want to say a huge thank you to all our other amazing volunteers who generously dedicated their Sunday to marshal in the rain. Your commitment was integral in ensuring the event ran smoothly and safely.

Lastly, our thanks to the wonderful Ollie from CaliUnity who led our group warm-up, setting an enthusiastic tone for the run despite the weather challenges!

There are many more individuals and organisations who contributed to our event.
Our sincerest thanks goes to:

Thanks to the collective efforts of participants, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, we are thrilled to announce that, through ticket sales and fundraising, we have raised an astounding £6,000 and counting! This substantial sum will significantly contribute to supporting Bath Mind’s mental health services and initiatives.

Thank you once again to everyone who contributed in making the Mental Elf Festive Fun Run an unforgettable success. Your support fuels our commitment to continue supporting the mental health of our local community.
