Western League Continues To Support Bath Mind

We are thrilled to announce that the Western League have announced that they will continue to support Bath Mind at their football matches.

The Western League has 40 Clubs across the South West of England, from Cornwall to Wiltshire, and the League hold bucket collections for local Mind charities at their matches. All money collected at matches in Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES) will go to Bath Mind.

For these matches in BaNES, Bath Mind have provided leaflets for fans, as well as specially designed posters to hang in the changing rooms, highlighting the variety of support that the community can use if they need help with mental wellbeing.

Western League Chairman, John Pool, said –

We started fundraising at our clubs for Bath Mind in 2022, and it says a lot about our clubs’ commitment to this cause that we are still fundraising today. The mental wellbeing of the players, club volunteers, and supporters is something we take very seriously, and I will do everything I can to support this important campaign.

Supporters at a recent Paulton Rovers match raised over one hundred pounds for Bath Mind, bringing the Western League’s total raised for local Mind charities to an amazing £4,853.
