Our monthly charity updates include news about our life changing services, upcoming Bath Mind events and exclusive wellbeing tips.
Bath Mind is committed to encouraging equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) throughout our entire workforce. The aim is for our workforce to represent the diverse society we live in, and that our employees, volunteers, and clients feel respected and heard by Bath Mind.
We have active staff and volunteer networks for staff, volunteers, and EDI allies, and encourage new staff to ask questions and join if they are interested. Bath Mind is growing to fulfil our ongoing commitment in inclusion in the workplace. As organisation that prioritises the mental health and wellbeing of all, we are determined to create meaningful and lasting equitable change across our charity.
If you feel you are a great match for the job, but do not meet all of the criteria we welcome you to submit an application.
All potential employees are required to provide proof of the Right to Work in the UK. Please see here for more information: https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work
All Bath Mind employees are subject to a criminal records check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) before an appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions and reprimands as well as convictions.
Applicants with criminal records will be treated according to their merits and any special criteria of the post (ie: working with vulnerable adults) that debars some in this category.
Having a criminal record does not in itself necessarily prevent a person from being appointed to any post.
Please supply details of two professional referees who are willing to provide you with a professional reference. We will require these two satisfactory references returned prior to appointment.
One referee must be your current, or most recent employer. This referee must be senior to your current position.
