Each year, our phone line provides 73,440 minutes of telephone support to people in mental health crisis, such as Sarah, who shared –
This service has helped me during some very distressing times. I really hope it can continue to operate.
A local social prescriber also shared their experience of using the service with the community –
I make heavy use of Bath Mind’s service to help vulnerable patients to manage emotional distress, including as safety planning for suicidal risk. It would be a shame to lose the phone support element of this service, as both F2F and phone options are important for accessibility, including as accommodations for disability.
We need to raise £50,000 to keep a scaled-down version of the phoneline running for another year. Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to ensuring that no one has to face a mental health crisis alone.
