Stitch Thursday
This group meet on a Thursday at St Andrew’s Church in Foxhill (not the 1st Thursday of the month), and as with the above Stitch group they work on a variety of craft projects under the expert tuition of Jill Perry.
Stitch Friday
This creative group of up to 12 participants work on textiles to create beautiful pieces of work, socialise and improve their wellbeing. From beginners onwards you can learn about working with felt, silk embroidery, learn new stitches and much more, having fun with textiles. Expert tutor Jill Perry, assisted by a volunteer and a support worker, is on hand to teach you the skills to be confident with your craft and help you experiment.
Stitch Friday is held weekly at The Bubble in Bath City Centre.
Commissions have included designing and creating the alter cloth for the Bath Abbey.
