Bath Mind Launch Access Community Mental Health
Bath Mind is thrilled to launch its new service, Access Community Mental Health, offering one-to-one support to people within Bath & North East Somerset.
What is Access Community Mental Health?
Access Community Mental Health (ACMH) is made up of a dedicated team of knowledgeable Bath Mind staff whose aim is to help individuals to access the right mental health support for them. Offering one-to-one support, we hope the introduction of the ACMH will help people living in B&NES to more easily navigate the available mental health support services.
ACMH’s friendly and knowledgeable staff are available seven days a week between 9am and 5.30pm, and are there to discuss which local services are most suitable, and to encourage and support access to other mental health services, such as counselling. Those who use the ACMH will have a trained and friendly team member to rely on; they will have regular check ins with you and support you to achieve your goals. The ACMH will also help you to plan your next steps, with a focus on future independence.
Katie Smith, ACMH Manager, says:
We are excited to launch the new Access Community Mental Health service at Bath Mind. We will walk alongside anyone over the age on 16, living in BANES, every step of the way, making sure you are able to access the right mental health support and help you to plan your next steps.
