Bath Mind Sport-A-Thon 2019 Announced!
Looking for a fun and exciting way to get involved with Bath Mind this year?
Bath Mind invite you to our 2019 Charity Sport-A-Thon!
Come along to Kingswood School Sports Pavilion on Sunday 8th September, where we will be hosting 8 hours of family fun, sport, and challenges. Sports include (but are not limited to): Yoga, football, netball, badminton, team games, car boot bingo, arts activities, basketball, rounders and more!
In 2018, Bath Mind was awarded funding by Sport England and the National Lottery to help people to try new sports and activities to help improve their physical and mental health. This was named Get Set to Go, and is now in it’s summer programme phase around B&NES (see attached flyer). To bring all of these fantastic activities together, Bath Mind are hosting a Sport-a-thon at Kingswood School, open to all who are looking to increase their activity levels, and a fun day out in support of local mental health charity, Bath Mind.
Not only will there be opportunities for individuals to take part in the 8-hour event in aid of Bath Mind, but there will also be drop in sessions for family and friends. These drop in sessions will include a variety of sporting and arts activities for all ages, from children’s yoga to family dodgeball.
