This year’s theme is Anxiety.
For 2023, Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) falls on 15th – 22nd May.
This year, we’ll be raising awareness of the impact anxiety can have on our mental health.
Anxiety is one of the most common mental health problems that we face as a society, and yet it is still widely misunderstood. To mark MHAW, Bath Mind will be sharing information and support on anxiety as well as hosting community events to help individuals connect with the local community.

We are hosting open sessions at some of our weekly wellbeing groups that focus on the five ways to wellbeing and have been proven to support individuals struggling with anxiety. Find out more below!

What is Mental Health Awareness Week?
Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual event when there is an opportunity for the whole of the UK to focus on achieving good mental health. The Mental Health Foundation started the event 21 years ago, and since then it has grown to become one of the biggest awareness weeks across the UK and globally.
