Join our four week workshop and learn how to create a wildlife friendly garden! 

At our beautiful gardens in Ammerdown near Radstock, you will connect with nature and learn ways to encourage animals and insects into your outside space. This will increase biodiversity in whatever green space is accessible to you, whether in your garden, allotment space or community garden. 

We will cover three main topics:

  • Compost. Help to build compost bays out of recycled materials to create nutrient rich compost to treat your soil to grow strong and healthy plants.
  • Habitat Building. We will build a dead hedge as well as weaving and coppicing Hazel fences.
  • Beneficial Plants to Attract Wildlife and the Importance of Pollinators, Pest Management and Creating a Balanced Ecosystem. We will work together with nature for the benefits of people and wildlife.

Please note, these workshops will be run outside at our garden in Ammerdown. Please wear suitable outdoor and waterproof clothing and sensible footwear. Parking is available on site.
