Looking for a fun and exciting way to get involved with Bath Mind this year?

Bath Mind invite you to our 2019 Charity Sport-athon!

Come along to Kingswood School Sports Pavilion on Sunday 8th September, where we will be hosting 8 hours of family fun, sport, and challenges. Sports include (but are not limited to): Yoga, football, netball, hockey, team games, car boot bingo, arts activities, tai chi, rounders, and more!

In 2018, Bath Mind was awarded funding by Sport England and the National Lottery to help people to try new sports and activities to help improve their physical and mental health. This was named Get Set to Go, and is now in it’s summer programme phase around B&NES. To bring all of these fantastic activities together, Bath Mind are hosting a Sport-a-thon at Kingswood School, open to all who are looking to increase their activity levels, try something new and or just join us for a fun day out in support of local mental health charity, Bath Mind.

Not only will there be opportunities for individuals to take part in the 8-hour event in aid of Bath Mind, but there will also be drop in sessions for family and friends. These drop in sessions will include a variety of sporting and arts activities for all ages, from children’s yoga to Rugby Tots and family dodgeball.

How to get involved

Want to take part?

We’re asking that participants pledge a fundraising target of £200, and are able to participate in the 8-hour challenge from 10-6pm. However, obviously the more you can raise for us the better! The minimum amount to take part is set at £75 in order to cover our costs.

Interested in our Friends and Family session? Come along from 1pm-5pm to take part in our family and kid friendly drop in sessions for £5 per person, kids are free! More information will be posted on this page, and Bath Mind social media channels, linked below.
