Archie and Arthur’s Centurion Challenge

£1,710 of £1,000 raised

We are Archie Ball and Arthur Barker, two year 10s at Beechen Cliff School in Bath. On 5th of July we will be trying our hardest to run/walk 100 miles in 48 hours as part of the school’s Centurion Challenge.

We are raising as much sponsorship as we can for Bath Mind. We want to stop anyone with mental illness having to face it alone.

Together we can make a difference.

Bath Mind are a local and independent mental health charity, operating in Bath and North East Somerset. We are here to promote and nurture everyone’s mental health through the provision of information, activities, advice and support. Although we are affiliated with the national Mind charity, we receive no direct funding from the national body and having our own fundraising efforts and governance.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Bath Mind receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.
