Bath Mind delivers excellent, accredited mental health training for businesses and organisations, facilitated by trainers who have personal and professional experience of mental health issues.
Bath Mind also works with schools and youth organisations to develop creative sessions for young people, school assemblies, after school clubs, and enrichment sessions.
We offer training for staff who support young people.
Our courses can take place at your venue, where you provide the refreshments and we provide the trainers and materials. Or alternatively we can arrange a venue and refreshments and take the hassle out of organisation for you.
The courses can be booked as stand alone experiences or as a graduated programme which can build up to the certificated 2 day Mental Health First Aid course.
Bath Mind's training courses are individually tailored to suit the needs of our clients. Prices vary dependant on whether you want an individual course or a series of learning workshops. Some charitable and school discounts may apply.

Meet our trainers
Sal Cook is a Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Awareness Trainer for Bath Mind. Her background is mental health nursing. She trained in a large psychiatric hospital in Wiltshire and returned to Bath after qualifying to work in an acute psychiatric unit, which she loved. When her children were small she worked in education as it fitted in with being a mum, and now she combines her background in mental health with her experience in teaching to deliver courses which raise awareness of mental health issues.
Phoebe Kitcher is a Mental Health Awareness Trainer who specialises in teaching young people. She has a particular interest in teaching self-care skills, and has a wide range of knowledge when it comes to specific mental health conditions and their symptoms. Phoebe is trained in teaching and facilitation, and has been delivering training since 2013.
Lisa Weeks is a Wellbeing Consultant specialising in Stress Management. Her aim and mission in life is to help people lower their stress levels and start living the life they deserve: a stress less life. Coming from a coaching and counselling background and being a qualified Relaxation Therapist, she uses a range of techniques to help people control their stress levels effectively and for the long term
